UPDATE

Hello everyone...... here is a quick re cap of last few days.

Friday--Very Windy outside, we have a storm coming in for tomorrow.  Dave stopped by for supper.

Saturday --boy did it get cold out today...they say it will get colder by Sunday, after the snow!  It started snowing around 2pm---it stopped by 9pm, we only got about 1 inch.

Sunday--VERY, VERY COLD outside!!! actually had to let the car warm up....went to moms to visit.

Today--Monday the bitter cold still with us.  They say it hasn't been this cold since March 2005!!  It went to -13 last night, and was only 2 degrees this a.m. when I let May out!!  Met up with mom & Janie W., we went to see Eight Below.  It was my second time seeing it.  I enjoyed it just as much this time, as 1st time.  I definitely want to buy it,  when it comes out.  I have to run right now, May just brought her food dish into me, from the kitchen.  I'll take that as a hint that she's hungry!!  8>)   Til next time.......

(the favorite drink of James Bond 8>}  ...to be shaken, not stirred!)  It was good..it was called Mango Tango.

After dinner we went to see the new movie Eight Below.  It was a great movie,,,I will be buying the dvd when it comes out.

So we girls had a nice relaxing afternoon/evening.....it was a great change of pace!!  Thanks Babs..Love Ya

Busy Day

Today was sunny & 39 degrees. Went to mom's for lunch. Took the 1st picture (of May) on way to moms. She loves to ride in my back window. I get a lot of looks & smiles from other drivers!!

When I got home, May stayed out on her run, and I took a nap. I woke up to phone ringing...went to bring May in and guess what!!!--She was gone! The line for her run had broken...I got a call shortly later from a lady up the street. She stated, she had May, and would have her daughter bring her back. Whew :>) !! She is now home safe & sound...I guess it means I have to get a new run line tomorrow.

Next, Chy & Desi came by to bring me a gift (last 3 pictures). They made this "pen bouquet" over their aunts house today. They wanted me to have it. They took silk flowers and added pens (the ballpoint kind) wrapped in green floral tape, as stems. They put them in glass vase with glass stones & rivers rocks. It is really cute & clever!! Thank You girls..... :>)

New England Weather

It's Saturday. Yesterday the temps were 59 today it's 32 outside!!! It's a typical New England pattern!

The pictures of Chy, Desi & May were taken yesterday morning before the girls went to school. They were very happy because after school was out, they start winter vacation. They are also having a sleep-over party tonight with two of their cousins.

As you can see in the pictures, most of the snow is gone. By the end of the day, there were just traces of snow left!

Today around noon time we had a brief snow shower...with no measurable amounts on ground from squalls.

Another Great Day

Another gorgeous day!!!  It reached 59 today....most of the snow from the blizzard is melted.

I've had Chy & Desi this week (while their babysitter is away).  This morning on the way to school we saw a coyote in the front yard of a home on Summer St.  The girls were excited, as was May!!!  She wanted to go play with the "puppy".  The coyote looked confused it wanted to get to wooded area behind houses, but the fences were in the way!  I wish I had my camera with me, oh well.

Dave came by & stayed for dinner.  He showed me the few pictures he took in Texas.  He had a great time, but was glad to be home...Texas wasn't his cup of tea!!

David comes home....

Dave comes home from Texas today.  He called from the airport to let me know he was on his way.  If all goes well, he'll arrive @ 11:20p.m., in Boston.

Today was absolutely gorgeous out.  It was sunny, and it reached 55 degrees!!  It was like having a blast of Spring.  A far cry from 3 days ago!

Monday night news

A couple of items to mention.... May came home today from Uncle Wades.  She went over last Wednesday to visit her cousins.  She immediately went romping thru the new deep snow.  I'll post some pictures tomorrow of her in our snow filled yard!!!

I've heard from David twice since he went to Texas to visit LeeAnn & Tommy Blair.  He's having a good time, and has taken a lot of pictures.  He's in Kileen Texas, near Austin.  LeeAnn & Tommy are stationed out there @ Fort Hood.

Dave is due home this Wednesday @ 11:20 p.m.  I'll post some of the pictures he took, after he arrives home.

The day after "The Blizzard of '06"

Hello, I decided to start a blog. Hope you all will enjoy visiting Panda's World.

These pictures were sent to me by Babs. She took them while @ work, during the Blizzard '06.

We got close to 20" of snow here in Rockland. Today was sunny and in the 30's. Things have already started to melt. It's suppose to be in the 40's by end of week.
