Another Update

Hi,

Quick update for the week.  Today was very, very, nice......70's and sunny.

Thursday Amy brought the girls over after meeting.  They will be with me til next Wednesday, while she is in FLA. 

Friday a.m.  May & I brought the girls to school.   I did some yard work, and then went to pick the girls back up at school.  The girls & I then took May to puppy park.  There were a lot of dogs there enjoying the warm weather.

We had pizza for supper.  Dave stopped by for a short visit.  He's got a busy weekend ahead of him.

Another Beautiful Day

Hello,

Today was sunny & 67 degrees!!!   Such a perfect day.  Now if all days could be like this!!!!

I talked w/ Big Ma for almost an hour today.  She's doing well.  Two weeks ago started a new job w/prison system.  I think she'll do great in this job.  I think Jah put her here for a reason!!!

Today was busy.  Amy came over with things for the girls.  I will be watching them from Thursday p.m. - til Wednesday a.m.  Amy is going to Florida for some R & R!!  She & Angie will be leaving early Friday a.m. and will return late Tuesday p.m.  They will be meeting up with Nelson Pervez a long time friend of Angie's.

I went to Roberts & picked up Harry's ashes for Wade today.  Harry died on Saturday.

I also drove Babs for some errands today.  She's recouping from a fall yesterday at work. She banged up her left arm & right ankle a bit.  She'll be out of work til Saturday.

Dave came over for dinner.  We had some good laughs & was teasing Tim online for awhile!!!

Today was a beautiful day out there!!! It was sunny & 55....

I'll be having dinner with Tim & Babs tonight. We are going to cook out on the barbie!!

The pictures above came from Krystal can you tell who's who!!! It took me a few mins to figure it out....

Well, Babs just called and said come on over....so I'll catch up with everyone later.

Weekend Updates

Hello everyone,

This is a quick recap of the weekend:

Friday  03/24/06 -  Got a much needed hair cut, then it off to the Chiropractors office.  Later that day I went over to Amy's to have dinner with Amy & girls.

Saturday 03/25/06 - A sad note to begin day.  Harry died this morning.  He had been part of the family for many years now.  He will be dearly missed.   I went to mom's to visit in the afternoon.  Dave also stopped by for a visit.  Dave took mom & I out for dinner.  We went to the Great American Pub.

Sunday 03/26/06 - It was a quiet day.  May & I went to Puppy Park in the afternoon.  It was in mid 50's & cloudy.   There were a lot of dogs @ the park today.

Amy called to let me know that Sis Delaney's mom passed away on Thursday.  I'll get a card for Cathy tomorrow.

Another day of First!

Hi.....

It was in low 40's & cloudy today. 

Today I had two new "first"...Babs & I went to Deja Brew.  It is a new coffee shop on Rt.18 in Abington.   I had my first Latte (white chocolate), and my other first was a "Pannini" sandwich.  Both were delicious!! 

It's a quaint little shop with country theme for decorations.  It is run by two moms who wanted a business that allowed them to be home with their children, when they got out of school.  The shop hours are: Mon-Fri 6:30a - 3p, and Sat 7a - 3p.  Closed Sundays.

I definitely would go here again & would recommend it to others.....

Beautiful Sunny Day

Hi there!!!

It was sunny but chilly today!!!  Was able to make it to the K.H. today. It was good to see everyone.

It was a quiet afternoon.  Babs helped me by doing laundry for me--Thanks Babs!!

Babs, Tim & I had super together tonight.  We tried a new Chinese Food restaurant in area.  The food was good.

Fun Afternoon

Hi there,

It was a busy afternoon today. First Babs stopped by then Amy, Chy, Desi and Ashley came by. Amy brought Lola with them.

Lola is Kim Stone's dog (a husky) that she adopted this week from the pound. Lola is a sweet heart!!! May was all excited to me her.

We took May,Lola, and the kids to puppy park. What an adventure!! A lot of noise!! It was chilly at puppy park but there were lots and lots of dogs there. The kids & dogs had fun...Amy froze(not dressed properly AGAIN) and I, well I took the pictures and tried to keep track of everyone!

When I got home I went online to send Amy a copy of the pictures and I saw a email from Krystal. It was good to hear from her. I was beginning to think that she wasn't going to write, but she did.

Well it's time to make supper & feed May....so I'll catch up with ya'll later.... Love Donna

Tidbit

Today was a quiet day.   The only thing that really happened was Amy & the girks came over for dinner tonight.  It was nice having them here.  Amy was bringing the girls to there dad when they left here, then was going out for some music & dancing with Angie.  I hope they have fun!!

UPDATE

Hello everyone,

Yesterday (Wednesday) was busy!! I dropped a gift for baby Brine off to Scott. Then I went to see Dr. Parker. Things just snapped into place!!!

I picked up May & headed to Moms. Miss Hannah was there visiting mom. Miss Hannah is not the social butterfly that May is! She was stand-offish. Mom & I had lunch together. I took the pictures (above) of Miss Hannah while there.

David & Jason came over for dinner. We had pork loin roast & rice. The food was good, as was the company.

FLOWER SHOW 2006

Hello everyone.....

Mom & I went to the Flower Show in Boston. It was great!! The colors, smells, sounds.... all brought Spring to the fore front!!!

Such a WONDERFUL Day!

Hello...

Today was such a great day out! It was in mid 60's, sunny with a light breeze...couldn't ask for anything better.

Stopped by moms to help her with her computer. She was a bit under the weather today.

May & I then headed up to see Dave. May played with her cousins, while Dave & I cleaned my car, Boy did it need it!!! It looks great now. Thank you Dave. :0)

UPDATE

Hello,

Dave was over last night for dinner. I made fried chicken & rice. Then David & I went onto Pogo, and we played some games til about nine p.m.

Today was very nice out---- it got up to 65 degrees. Dave finally had work today. He hasn't had any since he came back from Texas!!! (OUCH) He was working in Hanover, so I met him for lunch. Wow what a day!!

A very busy day here today. Went over to visit Dave before he left to go to Maine for his concert. I took some pictures of Wade's kids!! They were all wound up... Babs came with me, as did May. After our short visit we went to P.P. For those who do not know what this it is: it's Puppy Park!! It's a great park on the Weymouth & Hingham line. All dogs are free to run, jump & romp their way around.

It's great excercise for everyone--especially the pups!! May is sound asleep right now cause of her outing...it's great!!!

I've posted some of the picture I took. Hope you all enjoy them...

Another sunny day....

Hello...it was sunny & in the 40's today.  May & I picked the girls up from school today.  May was soooo excited to see them.  They were only here for a couple of hours while Amy helped a friend out.

Last night I showed mom how to use the super buddy on her IM.  Now she has a talking Red Sox baseball !!

Just talked w/David...he's getting excited to see his concert tomorrow...should be a good show.

Monday's news

It was a nice day  today.. It was up in the mid 40's & sunny.  What a change from the past 2 weeks.

Mom stopped by while in the area, and stayed for dinner.  Showed her how to animate the icon on her I.M. screen.

Dave has been on pogo most of the afternoon!  He seems to like the site.

Other than that not much going on...catch you all later.

Warming Up !!

It was sunny & warmer today.  We made it into the 30's!!   It was a quiet day.... Amy & the girls invited me out to dinner.  We went to Friendly's in S.Weymouth.

I made some new friends on Pogo today.  KK-  from Southern California, Barb & Hawk - are from Maryland.  They seem down to earth.  Nicest ones I've met so far.

UPDATE

A quick update to the weeks events so far..... Wednesday 3/1 Chy & Desi had supper with Dave & I. Then they stayed overnight & I brought them to school in the A.M.

It's been very cold around here-- in the single digits to 20's!!! I guess we are making up for having such a mild winter....

Thursday night into Friday morning we had some snow. Here we got about 3"...more towards the Cape they got 8" (good for them!)

Friday night I was invited over to Amy's for dinner. We had a good time. Above are some pictures I took while there.

Today is Saturday and we are in a warm spell!!! It's 34 degrees out right now (3p.m.) !!!

Mom and I got tickets to see the Flower Show in Boston-(in two weeks)- I'll bring along my camera and take some pictures to share with ya all!

David has a concert coming up on 3/8. He & Amy are going to see Rob Thomas in Portland, ME. That should be a good show!!!
