Hello everyone....

I'll try and run through the past week quickly....(so you wont get bored LOL)

Last week had lunch with Mom & Jane W. We talked about my upcoming trip, and Jane & David's move to TN. Jane & David (and Miss Hannah - of coarse) are moving to TN in July. I saw pictures of the house they are building- it looks real nice. Told Jane I'd stop in on my way by to check it out in person.

I guess I'm getting old (lol)- Dave turned 26 on the 22nd. Where did the years go????? I luv ya chief.

Saturday A.M. was at Babs house at 3am to take her & Tim to airport. They were heading to NC to visit family for two weeks. I'll be picking them up on the 1st of July. I then came home to hold the yard sale- Had a lot of much needed caffeine. lol

The weekend finally yielded a yard sale on Saturday 6/17 LOL- (only waited three weeks to have it). It was very successful. I was able to get rid of about 90% of my stuff- the rest was carted off to charity. It was a good day- sunny & hot. Many thanks to Dave & Amy for all of their help. With out their help I could have never have gotten things done. Thanks again both of you....XOXOXO

Sunday I decided to escape for the day. Picked up Mom and went to Rockport, MA. We had a great time. It's an old fishing village that now supports small gift and art shops. The pictures above were taken that day.

The rest of this week has been just taking care of loose ends, as I will be leaving apartment this Sunday. I will be staying at Mom's in Taunton til I leave in September.

Busy Week

Hi Everyone...

It's been busy around here lately. Wednesday (6/7/06)- Chy had a violin recital. She & the other kids did very good.

Friday Dave brought dinner from Carmen's- Food was all right- not as good as it use to be- must have new chef. Dave took May home for the night - to give me a break. lol

It rained all week- so no yard sale Saturday as it was still raining. Sunday was a much better day- the rain finally ended. I went and picked up May & took her to puppy park. It was packed with lots of puppies!!!! Everyone was talking about having cabin fever. LOL

Today was another nice day- Went to Desi's school play today. It was put on by all the 2nd graders in her school. I have posted pictures from Chy's recital, May's day out in the Park, and Desi's school play. Hope you all enjoy them.

There is a hurricane heading for FLA (Alberto). It may head up here later this week. Will keep an eye on weather to see if maybe we might actually get the yard sale in this weekend. LOL

Hi everybody,

Things are moving right along these days.  Not much longer and I'll be leaving the apartment, then 2 short months later, I'll be starting the walkabout.

I am hoping for good weather this upcoming Saturday to have the yard sale, but it is looking like rain again..... will have to wait & see.

I've been working with my new computer- a Toshiba Satellite.  Getting use to it, and transferring files from the home computer.  Long & boring process.  LOL

Sunday  we had our 1-day Special Assembly Day in Natick.  It was a good day but long.  It was great seeing everyone.  We had a lot of good laughs.  The talks were very up building.

May had spent the day over Wade's so she wouldn't be alone.  I picked her up on Monday. 

Monday night Dave stopped by, we went out to dinner to the Ale House in Abington.  Food was good. Thanks my luv...You're so good to mom !! :0)   Ran into an old friend from back at Bradley's days, at the restaurant.  Sunny & her husband John and their daughter.  It was good to see them.  Then Dave & I went to Best Buy to try & figure out the best way for me to have Internet access while on the road.  We determined that Broadband Wireless Service was the best choice, so off to Verizon we went.....  The Verizon people were very helpful and I will be going with their product.  It's a PC Card that has a modem built into it.  So I can be anywhere in the USA and have Internet service w/o cable or phone lines.  For the most part the access will be broadband speed, but in some areas it will be like dial up- which is ok as I don't plan to down load many things while away.  This Internet access will be especially good while I'm at camp sites as they don't have phones & cable at the sites  (LOL) !!!

Crazy week

Hi everyone....

It was a busy week around here this week- trying to get everything together for yard sale--- then wouldn't you know- Saturday is here and it's pouring!!!!  So now I have to wait til next week - @#$%%#@$^^%$#  weather   (LOL)  It was very hot & humid this week- air quality not very good- especially with all the pollen.

Had dinner over Amy's last night.  She & girls are doing well.  They are looking forward to having May come live with them.

I gave my landlord my notice to vacate.....well it's starting to really feel like the walkabout will happen...I'm at the point of no return now....I feel excited & a little scared at the same time---it will be an adventure that is for sure.  lol

I've got a laptop for the trip-- now have to set it up and transfer files from home computer.  The home computer will be going to Wade for him to use while I'm gone.

Well. I'm going to get along now- I hear May talking to someone outside- need to go check on it....Have a great day everyone... Love Donna
