Lighthouse Pictures

Hey There.....

Hope this update is finding everyone doing well. For those who know me well this next bit of news won't come as a surprise...(lol) I love Lighthouses!!! I did have quite a collection going until recently. I've been wanting to see as many lighthouses as possible and photograph them.

I'm going to use my trip to accomplish this. I am starting by taking pictures of the ones close to home first. Today I went to Hull, Cohasset, and Scituate to take some pictures to start my collection.

In the above pictures you will see the following: Fort Revere, Hull, MA This fort dates back to Revolutionary War. Off in the distance you can see Boston Light (white one) and Graves Light (granite one in background). They are located on Brewster Island. Next pictures are of the Minot's Light, then the last ones are of Scituate Light.

It was a beautiful day in the high 80's, sunny and a light breeze.

Cruise Night

Hi Everyone,

Today was a beautiful day!!! Sunny, in the 80's- not humid just right.....

Ran a lot of pain in the butt errands today (lol). Still changing addresses with bank etc. Went to AAA to get my passport photo's done. Dropped my application for passport off at Rockland Town Hall. Should have passport just before I leave. Why the passport you may be asking....Well I may have the opportunity to go to Mexico & Canada, and you need to have a passport to do so now a days......

Took Mom and went to Cruise Night this evening. Cruise Night is held at the Walmart on the corner of Rt.58 & Rt.105 in Halifax, every Friday night. There were a lot of great looking cars there. If you look thru the above photo's you'll see some of the cars that were there. Hope you enjoy looking at them as much as we did.

Last night Dave & his girlfriend Terry came over for dinner.

May seems to be doing well over at Amy's. Amy says that May is now settling in and getting use to the new routine.

David & Jane Worrick going to TN this weekend to finalize paper work on new house. So Miss Hannah (their Caron Terrier) will be staying with us, while they are gone.

Busy Week

Hi Everyone,

     It was a very busy week.  On Monday 6/26/06 moved things into storage.  The on the 29th - Thursday did final cleaning of apartment & turned keys in.  So it's official now- no longer live in Rockland. 

Today picked Babs & Tim up from airport.  They were returning from their vacation in NC.  Babs said they had a real good time-  She looked well rested & tanned.

Now it's getting to crunch time- 10 more weeks til departure for "walkabout"   I'm starting to get very excited about everything now.  Still trying to figure out how to close my new tent, but I WILL MASTER IT BEFORE I LEAVE!!!!  (lol)

We finally got a couple of days without rain- its good- we were starting to get webbed feet around here(lol).  It has been very hot though, but can't have everything.....
