Kentucky Down Under- 6/22/07

Hi Everyone…

Its another hot day in Kentucky. Today (Friday- June 22nd) I headed out to visit a nearby park called “Kentucky Down Under”. They advertise animals and the atmosphere from Australia. It was a small, quaint park. It had both domestic and wildlife from Down Under. There was a reptile house, dingo, birds, barn animals, and outback animals. I got to feed some birds, and petted a few kangaroos!! It was interesting learning about and getting to touch these beautiful animals. I would say it takes a total of 3hrs to do the whole park. They also have a cave tour…no where near as big, as the one in Texas, or the other caves here in Kentucky (Mammoth Caves); but it was fun and a way to get a cool break from the summer sun.

If you would like more info on this park, check out:

Enjoy the pictures, and I’ll be back in touch soon-
